Composition: natural calcium (formed by complexing of CaCO3 and protein) occupies more than 90%, and amino acids, minerals, microelements etc occupy around 10%. Among them, the amino acids include 18 kinds of amino acids such as aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glycin and methionine etc which are necessary to human body, and a kind of nonprotein amino acid which is very rare—taurin. Minerals include calcium, iron, zinc, manganese etc, and nearly 21 kinds of microelements like selenium, germanium etc.

Functions: Li Shizhen, a famous Chinese doctor in Ming Dynasty, indicated in the 46th volume of his book Compendium of Materia Medica: “Pearls are salty and sweet, they are cold and nonpoisonous. They can calm people’s hearts down and brighten their eyes. People’s faces can be reddened healthily when they apply it on the face.
